FortisBC - $5,000 - Dual Fuel Heating System Rebate
​Residential customers upgrading their home's primary heating system to a dual fuel system that combines an electric outdoor heat pump with a high-efficiency gas furnace, may be eligible for a $5,000 Rebate.
​​FortisBC Rebate eligibility requirements:

Customer’s home must be a year-round primary residence, and they must be replacing a furnace that is at least ten years old.

Must live in one of the following housing types: Single-family dwelling; duplex, triplex, row home or townhome

EV Charger Rebates with FortisBC or BC Hydro
Fully Electric Vehicle or Hybrid Electric Vehicle - there are rebates from FortisBC & BC Hydro to install your own Level 2 EV Charger at home.
Get a rebate of up to $350 to install a Level 2 (240 volt) charging station in your single-family home, duplex, or other semi-detached housing type.

$350 FortisBC EV Charger Rebate
The FortisBC Home and Workplace EV Charging Program helps you save on the costs of purchasing and installing an eligible Level 2 charging station for an electric vehicle. Full details at FortisBC.
$350 BC Hydro EV Charger Rebate
Owners or residents of single-family homes, row homes, or duplexes that purchase and install an eligible Level 2 EV charger could receive a rebate of up to 50% of costs, to a maximum of $350.

BC Hydro is also offering funding of up to $250 for single-family home customers who install an eligible smart EV charger.
BC Hydro Rebates on Solar Panels & Battery Storage
Save up to $10,000 on eligible solar panels and battery storage! BC Hydro is offering rebates up to $5,000 on eligible grid-connected solar panels and up to an additional $5,000 for battery storage systems to qualifying residential customers.
You can install solar panels or a battery, or both to maximize the value of your project and your rebate.
Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Panel Rebates:

Up to $5,000 - $1,000 per kilowatt (kW) of installed generator capacity.

Battery Energy Storage System Rebates:

Up to $5,000 - $500 per kWh of installed storage capacity.

Minimum storage size: 5 kilowatt-hours (kWh).
