Humidifiers for the Okanagan

Dry indoor air in the winter reduces comfort levels in your home and can cause damage to your home’s interior. Everytime you open a door or window the crisp cold air is sucked in at the low points due to the hot air escaping up high. This cold air strips moisture out to bring the relative humidity down in your home. Maintaining a proper humidity level by using a whole home humidifier is the ideal solution.

Benefits of a Whole Home Humidifier.

Better for your health - Humidifiers can eliminate symptoms, such as dry skin and sinuses, scratchy throats and even reduce static electricity shocks you sometimes get indoors.

Better for your home's health - Hardwood floors, millwork and wood furniture. Uneven humidity levels can cause the wood to dry out and splinter, crack or cup.

Reduction in home heating costs - a home with higher humidity levels will feel warmer, which allows you to turn down the thermostats a few degrees and still feel comfortable in your home.

Functioning as an evaporative humidifier, the Aprilaire 600 humidifier can evenly distribute up to 17 gallons of moisture per day. Which is enough to humidify tightly sealed homes up to 4,000 square feet, average sealed homes up to 2,000 square feet, and loosely sealed homes up to 1,500 square feet.

Installation of the Humidifier takes approximately 3 hours to complete and is installed directly on the return air duct. In some homes a condensate pump is required if there is no floor drain. For pricing and availability click to visit our Online Booking page.

Furnaces

The majority of homes in the Okanagan Valley rely on a forced air ducted system with a central furnace to provide the heat throughout their homes.

We service, maintain and install furnaces that use both natural gas and propane.

Electronic Air Handlers

Air handlers or AHU's are part of a ducted ventilation system that dispurses heated or cooled air throughout a building.

AHU's can be installed to maintain even airflow by using small terminal units for small rooms or full size AHUs for entire homes.

Gas Fireplaces

Low Maintenance, Practical and Beautiful. Gas fireplaces not only increase the value of your home but provide a cozy feeling and luxurious ambiance in any room they are installed in.
